Restructuring Korean shipbuilder DSME is on a mission to reassure shipowners of its financial health.
CEO Jung Sung-leep is visiting European companies this week, the yard said, according to the Yonhap news agency.
He left on Monday for northern Europe for meetings at which he will pledge to deliver ships on time, despite ongoing efforts to downsize and revive its finances.
"Concern is growing among shipowners on news that creditors may downgrade their credit ratings on Daewoo Shipbuilding by one notch from normal," a company official said.
