Navig8 Chemical Tankers is throwing cold water on reports that it has firmed up an order for a series of newbuildings at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) to replace ships lost in the collapse of STX.
“This report is simply not true — we have not placed any orders at HMD,” said Navig8 executive Jason Klopfer in a message to TradeWinds today.
