Philly Shipyard could start work on the first of up to four new LNG-fueled containerships for TOTE Maritime by the first quarter of next year, chief executive Steinar Nerbovik tells TradeWinds.
The Oslo-listed company signed a letter of intent with TOTE in July to build two firm, plus two optional, containerships for the Jones Act shipping trade between the US and Hawaii.
