French and Italian ministers have described a meeting about the future of the STX France shipyard as "constructive."
This was the word used by French finance minister Bruno Le Maire following discussions in Rome on Monday, according to the Financial Times.
A senior Italian finance ministry official said progress had been made in the negotiations also featuring Pier Carlo Padoan, Italy’s finance minister, and Carlo Calenda, its economic development minister.
