Pay dropped 20% for workers at South Korea's restructuring shipbuilder DSME last year.
The Korea Times reported that the average annual salary fell KRW 15m to KRW 60m ($53,280) in 2016.
DSME also chopped executive pay packets by between 20% and 30% in the second six months.
Managing directors' wages were reduced by between 10% and 15%.
