Marinpet Petrol Denizcilik is preparing to build its first ever LNG-fueled chemical carriers as it looks to grow its fleet.
The Turkish owner confirmed to TradeWinds that steel cutting for the two 8,000-dwt ships will take place by the beginning of 2018.
Delivery has been scheduled for the second half of 2019 while the vessels are expected to cost from $21m to $22m each.
