Norway’s Solstad Offshore has reactivated a laid-up platform supply vessel (PSV) after winning a new term charter from Total in the UK.
Broker Westshore said the 4,200-dwt Normand Aurora (built 2005) has secured three months of firm work plus options.
No rate was reported for the charter.
In December, the vessel was stacked as the owner adjusted to enduringly poor rates.
The company told TradeWinds it would be laid up until earnings improved.
