DHT Holdings has resolved a rudder issue which had impacted a VLCC newbuilding from Hyundai Heavy Industries.

As TradeWinds reported late last year, cracks were discovered on the rudder of the 299,900-dwt DHT Jaguar (built 2015).

DHT told investors today is had implemented a “permanent repair plan for a rudder design improvement on the DHT Jaguar and its sister ships”, alongside the shipbuilder and class society ABS.
