Two senior chartering executives have departed Danish product tanker owner Torm but it appears market whispers about the reasons for their exit may be wide of the mark.
The departed are Claus Hansen, head of the medium-range products desk, and Jacob Pedersen, head of Middle East chartering with more than a dozen years’ tenure.
Initial rumours had both defecting to Danish rival Hafnia Tankers, but sources indicate that applies only to Hansen.
