Theodore Angelopoulos is set for a return to shipowning with an aframax order at Daehan Shipbuilding.
His Metrostar Management, which sold the last of its eight VLCC newbuildings to Onassis, is planning two aframaxes at the DSME managed facility.
Delivery of the 115,000-dwt pair under discussion is understood to have been penciled in for late 2018.
Angelopoulos is making his return to shipowning in a sector which has just come into vogue.
