Greek owner Chandris has secured time charters for up to three years for a pair of long-range two (LR2) newbuildings that are set for delivery from Cosco Dalian Shipyard next year.
The deal with ST Shipping is for two firm years at $17,250 per day and $17,750 per day for an optional year, giving revenues of $38m in total if the options are declared.
