Andonis and Filippos Lemos-fronted Enesel has tied a trading VLCC into a time charter with Clearlake in a deal which was signed at the same time as a pair of tanker newbuildings were locked away.
Enesel company NS Lemos has fixed the 320,000-dwt Spyros (built 2007) away on a six month deal worth $23,000 per day.
The rate is a fraction below the present spot market level of $24,251 per day, according to data from Howe Robinson Partners.
