Koch Shipping & Trading is reportedly looking to charter two suezmaxes owned by Tsakos Energy Navigation. But it remains unlcear whether their hire has been finalised.
The Athens-based shipowner announced Friday that two suezmax tankers were put on three-year hire to a "major US oil concern." The charters are set to start in September.
Market sources say two Tsakos-owned vessels, the 163,000-dwt Alaska (built 2006) and the 164,000-dwt Eurochampion 2004 (built 2005) are now on position lists from Koch.
