Maxim Research lowered its earnings estimates for this year and next on Tsakos Energy Navigation as it readies to release third-quarter results.
Lead shipping analyst James Jang says "the current headwinds" facing the tanker sector, especially during the seasonally weak third-quarter, could result in a loss of $0.15 per share for TEN.
He had previously estimated a $0.01 per share profit.
