Christian Kramer was just 32 years old when his father died suddenly and he found himself in control of one of Germany’s leading tanker operators.

Peter Kramer’s death last year at the age of 66 placed Christian at the helm of long-established Dr Karl-Heinz Kramer GmbH, a company better known for its companies Marine Service and Chemikalien Seetransport (CST).

It was quite a step up for Christian, who was educated at the European Business School in London, but a challenge he was ready to face.
