Dr Karl-Heinz Kramer group chairman Christian Kramer says there will always be a place for quality shipmanagers and owners in Germany, but he does not believe the fleet will return to its previous size — at least not in the short term.
“There will be large players and a few good quality midsize players,” Christian says.
He does not see a “sustainable” future for the typical German owner with just a handful of vessels.
