Euronav remains confident of closing a takeover of Gener8 Maritime in the next three months.
New York and Brussels-listed Euronav moved for the Peter Georgiopoulos-led company late last year with six VLCCs being sold to International Seaways as part of the picture.
In its consolidated fourth quarter report today Euronav said the transaction is proceeding as planned with an anticipated closing in the second quarter of 2018.
