An independent Chinese refiner is expecting the country to impose a tariff on US crude oil as the world's two largest economies continue to jostle on trade.
An executive at Dongming Petrochemical, one of the independent "teapot" refineries that dot China's coast, expects that his country will impose tariffs on US crude oil, Reuters reported.
The executive says the country will likely turn to Middle Eastern or West African supplies.
