Evangelos Marinakis-backed Capital Product Partners is in advanced talks with charterers regarding various projects to retrofit scrubbers on some of its ships.
Marinakis has previously been vocal in his expectation for some disruption to the market when new emissions rules arrive in 2020 and his public company is progressing with its own preparations.
