Houston suezmax pool Stena Sonangol has seen rates slip again in the second quarter as it welcomed new tonnage.
Time charter equivalent earnings were $14,750 per day to 30 June, from $17,083 a year ago.
This was slightly higher than in the first quarter of this year, however.
Revenue days rose to 1,829 from 1,689.
"Tanker rates are still suffering from low activity and high newbuilding deliveries and as a result rates continue to struggle in all segments," it said.
