The 14 men say they have been stranded formonths on the 100,000–dwt Iron Monger 3 (built 1990) off Khor Fakkan.
“Weare sick and dying. There is no clean water to drink or cook. We are unpaid andliving like hostages in the sea,” third engineer Smigin Subramanian told the Xpress daily.
“Wewant to escape from this living hell,” he added.
The crew consists of 12 Indians and twoPakistanis.
