The deal covers the procurement, construction and operationof the Aguirre Offshore GasPort terminal, Excelerate said.
It also includes the 15-year time-charter contract onone of Excelerate’s 151,000-cbm floating storage and regasification units(FSRU) specifically designed to provide closed-loop regasification services.
Excelerate said in a statement: “The definitive agreementsare critical in advancing the efforts for detailed engineering and theprocurement of long lead items for the project.”
