“2013was our first full year of operations in the segment and the economic results asa whole ended negatively,” chief executive Jan Arthur Hammer says in Odfjell’slatest annual report.

“Withonly two 9,000-cbm vessels, our exposure to changing market conditions turnedout to be a bigger challenge than anticipated at the outset.”

Odfjellre-entered the segment in 2012 with the purchase of the 9,000-cbm Bow Gallant(built 2009) and Bow Guardian (built 2008).
