Russia's ministry of industry and trade is developing a programme to award LNG carriers to plants in the former Ukrainian region.
The deals could form part of Sovcomflot’s newbuilding schedule. Zaliv Shipyard could be a big beneficiary.
The Feodosia-based More (Sea) yard, Sevastopol Marine Plant and Marine Industrial Complex could also be involved, the Itar-Tass news agency said.
