It signed the contract with DSME in Seoul on Thursday last week, it said in a statement.
The two 156,290-dwt crude tankers, which are said to be costing $140m in total, will be delivered in 2017.
TradeWinds first reported news of the contract, which is thought to include options for two additional vessels, in August.
At the time brokers said DSME had been favourite to win the deal given the strong relationship between the two companies.
