It has formed a spin-off called Tankerska New Generation (TNG) to own and run its clean ships and will grow the number of vessels it controls.
General manager Mario Pavic told TradeWinds: "An IPO is one of the ideas we are looking at."
Another option could be a private placement of shares, but nothing has yet been finalised, he added.
Tankerska has two products tankers of around 52,000 dwt already in the water, both built in 2011 in Croatia.
