The company told the Shanghai Stock Exchange that it had signed a contract to build a 319,000-dwt eco-friendly tanker at the Chinese yard.
No price was given, but delivery will be in September 2017.
The company, which operates its VLCC fleet through the China VLCC venture with Sinotrans & CSC, now has nine 319,000 vessels on order at Dalian.
It also has six VLCCs due from Shanghai Waigaoqiao.
