The 12,500-dwt ST Charlotte (built 2006) was bought this week and will be renamed Iver Ability, it said.
The bitumen/molten sulphur tanker is currently on charter to Total in the Atlantic basin.
Its next voyage is to Immingham in the UK to load a cargo of molten sulphur.
The purchase brings the total number of Vroon’s bitumen tankers to twelve.
Iver Ships will manage the vessel from Barendrecht in the Netherlands.
