Analyst Benjamin Nolan, who covers New York-listed shipping stocks for the investment bank, increased his spot market estimate for VLCCs to an average of $42,000 per day, up from his previous estimate $38,000 per day.
The highest hike in the projection comes in the second quarter, when he expects rates to come in at $39,000 per day, compared to a prior forecast of $27,000.
