One of Libya’s two governments has pledged to physically stop any tankers loading oil for Glencore under contracts with the rival administration.

The part of state-run National Oil Corp (NOC) run by the internationally recognised regime in eastern Libya has written to the trading giant seeking to confirm whether it has struck a deal to buy crude from the self-declared administration in Tripoli, according to Bloomberg, which cited eastern NOC chairman Nagi Elmagrabi.
