DHT Holdings has secured extended contracts at significantly stronger rates for three of the VLCCs it bought from Samco in the summer of 2013.
The three deals announced today were priced at a combined $85m by the shipowner.
New York-listed DHT says the 318,000-dwt Samco Europe (built 2011), 314,000-dwt Samco Taiga (built 2012) and 318,000-dwt Samco Redwood (built 2011) have all been kept on by oil majors.
