Minerva Bunkers has launched physical bunker fuel supply operations in West Africa, the Spanish-based company has confirmed.

The new operation covers the offshore waters of the Guinea Gulf including the Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon.

Minerva Bunkers’ 13,115-dwt double-hulled tanker Sea Lion I (built 2007) will supply customers with the full range of fuels. A second tanker of similar size is due to be launched before March 2016.
