Trading giant Glencore has put a number of its clean tankers on the sales block as the company seeks to slim its debts in the face of the commodity price falls.

Sale-and-purchase (S&P) market players were abuzz with talk of a tanker fleet sale this week, naming the trader as the willing seller of four medium-range (MR) and one or more long-range-two (LR2) tankers that have been trading clean products.
