London-based Navig8 Chemical Tankers has erased last year’s fourth-quarter loss to post a net profit of $9.1m to 31 December.

The chemical tanker owner said this was up $11.1m from the deficit of $2m in 2014, when it had not yet taken delivery of any newbuildings.

The full-year profit was $20.7m, against a loss of $4.6m a year ago.
