PT Batamec, the Indonesian shipyard owned by Singapore’s Otto Marine, secured the arrest of the 9,100-dwt products tanker Ratna Blessing (built 2009) this past weekend over claims that a repair bill has not been fully paid.
Otto, in a statement to the Singapore Stock Exchange on Monday, said the vessel was owned RS Marine Investments, and company owned by shipowner and cash buyer Rakesh Tulshyan.
