Nordic Shipholding has seen a modest increase in net profit in a second quarter marked by the departure of its ships from the Handytankers Pool.

The Danish shipowner saw a less than 1% year-on-year increase in net income of $994,000, despite a 3.4% fall in revenue to $10.1m.
