Borealis Maritime (BML) has set up a tanker management joint venture in Turkey with new partners.
Borealis Tankers will be based in new premises in Istanbul, the company said.
It will focus on commercial management of chemical carriers, initially concentrating on coated vessels with capacity of between 5,000 dwt and 8,500 dwt.
The company will start trading in January 2018 with BML's 5,100-dwt Bomar Juno (built 2005).
