Nicolas Busch struck an optimistic cord for the product market after a fourth quarter loss led to Navig8 Product Tankers finishing 2016 in the red.
The loss – reported alongside an operating profit – comes with the owner expecting to complete its vast newbuilding programme in the next month.
Navig8 Product Tankers booked a net loss of $5.8m in the three months to the end of 2016, compared with a modest profit of $119,000 in the same period 12 months ago.
