Peter Georgiopoulos-led Gener8 Maritime is an “intriguing” acquisition candidate at a time it has fortified its balance sheet and its stock continues to trade below net asset value, a leading analyst says.
New York-listed Gener8 has sold seven ships in 2017, boosting its cash position during a period in which it has attracted merger and acquisition interest from both Idan Ofer and John Fredriksen.
