Spot earnings for medium range (MR) tankers in the US Gulf may take a hit if refineries along the Texas coast remain shut in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. But MRs may get more work in Europe to bring gasoline cargoes to the US.
Analysts gamed out those scenarios after Harvey shut down the two busiest sites for oil cargoes in the US, Houston and Corpus Christi.
