Has a decline in tanker asset values changed the picture for Teekay spin-off Tanker Investments Ltd (TIL)?
Teekay launched the venture in 2013 as an asset play with chief executive Peter Evensen saying last summer it would be sold to the highest bidder once it was ripe for harvesting.
Crude asset prices have been fading with a string of transactions showing a softening of values and Arctic Securities says the company is now positioning to hang around.
