Norway's Jo Shipping has confirmed that two 10-year-old product tankers from Hong Kong's Cido Shipping will join the company's fleet.

Two different affiliates of the Bergen-based shipowner have purchased the 47,000-dwt Atlantic Diana and Atlantic Blue (both built 2007) for $16m each, as TradeWinds reported brokers were detailing in October.

The deal marks Jo's first move in the sale-and-purchase market since its Jo Tankers, a fleet of 13 chemical tankers and interests in eight newbuildings, was sold to competitor Stolt-Nielsen in July of last year for $575m.
