Navig8 Chemical Tankers has cancelled newbuilding contracts for five 49,000-dwt chemical tankers at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding.
TradeWinds first reported that the deal for four of the IMO II-classed vessels had collapsed in mid-August 2016.
Navig8 said all pre‐delivery instalments previously paid by the company have been refunded together with interest by Korea Development Bank (KDB) pursuant to the refund guarantees provided by KDB.
