Finnish group Neste has chartered a Danish bunker tanker as it continues to develop lower-sulphur fuels.
The company said the 4,500-dwt Lotus (built 2004) has been brought in from Sirius Shipping to work at ports in Helsinki.
Ships can be bunkered ex-pipe at the Porvoo and Naantali refinery harbours.
Neste is currently offering two marine fuels, the sulphur content of which is less than 0.1%.
