Odfjell’s Houston-based business has not suffered any damage from hurricane Harvey which has buffeted the region.
The company confirmed to analysts from Norne Research that its vessels and terminals have not been impacted so far.
Force majeure was declared and the pumps submerged in the terminal, but this should have only a limited impact on the figures, Odfjell added.
Its Houston terminal is located at the entrance of the Houston ship channel and has 119 tanks, two docks for deep-sea ships and four berths for barges.
