Stealth Maritime has chartered an aframax tanker for a year to Cyprus-based Solal amid sliding period rates.
The Greek shipowner has fixed its 112,000-dwt Iridescent (built 2009) in a deal that includes an option to extend an additional year.
The rate is understood to be $13,750 per day.
Both companies confirmed that Solal had chartered the ship, but they declined to comment on the charter rate.
