Tanker newcomer Fractal insisted it was abiding by the G7’s crude oil price cap with its Russian operations despite the rising prices of the country’s main export grade.
Fractal has emerged as one of the fastest-growing tanker companies since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 and continues to haul Urals crude on some of its 24 managed vessels despite the grade breaching the $60 a barrel cap last month.
