Thenamaris has revealed its first move in the VLCC arena in four years by disclosing that it holds a newbuilding pair bought in a resale deal last year that are now in long-term employment with Al-Iraqia Shipping Services & Oil Trading (Aissot).

The 320,500-dwt VLCC Ninawa and sistership Diyala (both built 2019) were posted on the website of the Martinos family-owned company earlier this month, just after Samsung Heavy Industries delivered them.
