A veteran BC Ferries ro-pax has fetched CAD 0.65m ($0.52m) at auction in Canada.
The 4,900-gt Queen of Burnaby (built 1965) was sold after 281 bids on the govdeals.ca website, CBC reported.
The ferry was taken out of service in early 2017 and is laid-up in Richmond.
A condition of the sale was the environmentally friendly breaking of the ship or its use in a "static" role.
