Under its previous identity of Bakri Navigation, Bihar International was a well-known player in the Middle East’s tanker space although its trading activities were confined almost exclusively to the Saudi market and therefore not widely reported on by the market.
Captain Gamal Fekry was brought in five years ago to spearhead the company’s move into the international tanker markets through Red Sea Marine Management (RSMM), an entity he set up in Dubai that now handles all of Bihar’s non-Saudi commercial business.
